Arden Koop joined Patrick P. Peters CMA firm in 2012. Arden has significant experience in corporate taxes and non-profit organizations. As well he has supported clients with various accounting software systems. In addition, Arden has assisted international clients with residency tax implications. In 2017 he became a partner at peters koop cpa.
Arden grew up on a farm in Belize, Central America, and is a third generation of accountants and entrepreneurs. Balance sheets, debits, and credits were discussed at family suppers and family gatherings. Arden graduated from University of Manitoba in 2010 at the Asper School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) double majoring in accounting and entrepreneurship. His studies included traveling to Israel taking an international marketing course at Ben Gurion University. Arden received his Certified General accountant (CGA) designation in 2015.
At a young age, Arden had his first clients assisting them with bookkeeping and accounting in Quick Books. Arden has experience in a small business with high risk lending as well as hog procurement in a Canadian multi-national corporation.
Arden enjoys the outdoors, camping, and horseback riding with his wife and three young daughters.
